Chemistry Student Research in Summer 2018

The students involved in summer research with chemistry faculty form a strong community throughout the 10-week program. All of our research groups are featured in the image gallery below. 

These hard-working chemists celebrated the end of week eight with an ice cream social. There were surprise appearances by polymer scientist Bryan Coughlin '88 from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and former Grinnell College faculty member Gene Wubbels, now professor emeritus at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
