On Perry Pond

Students have been collecting water and plankton and taking water chemistry measurements from Perry Pond at CERA for many years. Professor of Biology Peter J. Jacobson notes, “I don’t think sampling has changed too much over the years, except perhaps that we have far better equipment now for the work, both out on the pond and back in the lab! This really enriches the experience for the students and allows us to examine patterns that would have been difficult to explore in prior years.”
