Sarah Beisner ’22 is the first recipient of the Celina Karp Biniaz ’52 Model of Resilience Award, established by Celina Karp Biniaz ’52 who as a Holocaust survivor possessed a great deal of resilience.

Faculty members Clark Lindgren, Keisuke Hasegawa, Pascal Lafontant, Vida Praitis, Josh Sandquist, and Mark Levandowski were awarded a $499,553 Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) Grant from the National Science Foundation to purchase a laser scanning confocal microscope.
